T Hotel Ryuoo

T Hotel Ryuoo is in a prime location, you can literally walk out the front door and be on the ski field in 2-3 minutes. There are two restaurants on site (I only ate in the main restaurant), a small gift shop with ammenities, washing machine and dryer in the basement. I had breakfast each morning which was a buffet and it was fine. The front desk staff assisted me in rescheduling an appointment I had upcoming with a physiotherapist over the phone. I appreciated greatly the hotel shuttle bus service from Ryuoo to Nozawa Onsen which was complimentary.

Maybe it's because I booked through Booking.com instead of direct (it was just easier on this occasion) my rooms floor had coffee stains near the fridge. Maybe I'm just jumping to conclusions as the rest of the room was fine. I was able to watch Netflix on the rooms tv whilst resting and not snowboarding. The hotels wifi can be very touch and go and there are instructions in the room on how it can be fixed if its slow (it was permanently slow even after I followed these instructions). I just accepted this fact. This hotel is a lot newer and the facilities are more modern than other hotels in the ski field area (I visited a few others to compare their standards and T Hotel is by far superior in terms of decor). For Ryuoo in general (not the hotel) there is almost nothing to eat outside of your designated hotel during the night. The nearby Italian restaurant was always closed. Youy may need to raid the vending machines and gift shops in the nearby hotels and chalets to piece together a meal! I also had permanent weak cell reception in Ryuoo.

Our room at T Hotel was lovely with a view over the ski runs and mountains. The bed was comfortable and overall we were happy with the accommodation.

The meals were poor in quality, particularly the evening meals. We ordered the hamburgers one night from the chef’s special. They were raw on the inside and inedible, as well as being expensive ($34 AUD). While staff were plentiful, they appeared disinterested. Ryuoo Ski Park has some good runs, particularly from the top gondola station. However there was very limited opportunity to eat out with no restaurants open in the evening, apart from our accommodation. The hamburger cafe even closes at 5pm for orders. We had a car so could travel from the resort to find somewhere open for dinner. But if you didn’t have a car, then options are very limited.

Staff were friendly with many different nationality so meaning no issues for foreigners to stay in.. The hotel is nicely & newly renovated with Ski lifts just at the side of the hotel. We stayed for 5 nights and everything was just great throughout our stay! Will definitely stay again when we return. Thank you for taking good care of us ^^

Location was excellent, however we were unaware that you needed hotel transport from the resort car park to hotel door. It would be best to arrange the free transfers to and from the station if arriving by train.

Love the hotel and the staff. We had such a great time and would definitely return. The staff is nothing but great and helpful. They take the extra mile to make sure we have a great stay. The facility is nice and comfortable. Meals are good. It's like a ski in ski out. We had such a great time. Their customer service is everything that makes our stay spectacular. Before our visit, they asked us to reserve dinner. We came across a Christmas special that is a Chef hand made cake and we asked to order. They responded that the cake was really just for Christmas day celebration and since we won't check in until closer to New Year, it's out of the order date. A few days later, they emailed me and told us that they have asked the Chef if the Chef would still make us the cake. We were so surprised for the extra mile they took to provide the service. And we happily ordered the cake for our holiday celebration. Sure enough, the cake was so pretty and delicious, our family was over the moon. I told my family about the special arraignment and every was so happy and thankful for the service they provided. During our stay, we realized the area was pretty short staff due to many reasons. The staff at the hotel works very hard to make sure they cover all ground and give us spectacular service despite the shortage. It's very amazing. We will return as we had such a wonderful time. Wi-Fi didn’t work for first 48 hrs. Thought it very odd that our rooms (2) weren’t cleaned at all during the 4 days we stayed there

Location was exceptional - ski in and out - and the staff were so helpful. The ski facilities with lockers etc was awesome. We also had a room with a spa on the deck and that was incredible.

The kids entertainment room was not as good as advertised (a lot of games not working). Beds are hard also - not my personal preference.
