Louisville Marriott East

We stayed at the Louisville Marriott East during Derby weekend and had a terrific experience overall. While the rooms are a bit dated, they were perfectly clean and very comfortable. The bed, in particular, was excellent—exactly what you need after long days out and about. What really stood out was the service. The staff went above and beyond, with thoughtful touches throughout the Derby weekend that made the stay feel special. The atmosphere was lively but still relaxed, and we especially enjoyed the live music in the evenings. Logistics were also easy—parking was simple and convenient, and we had no service issues at all during our stay. Overall, this is a dependable, well-run hotel with outstanding service. I would highly recommend it, especially if you’re visiting Louisville for Derby weekend.

Cleanliness and location

The 2 1/2 hours waiting for room to be ready, while others went right to there rooms.

Very nice property, rooms were spacious, very clean and nice staff. Would absolutely stay there again.

This is my go-to location for Marriott properties in Louisville. It's a great location and the hotel is always impeccably clean and the staff is extremely friendly. The Charr'd restaurant has very good food and the service from David and the rest of the bar staff is outstanding. Above all, the main reason I come here is because I find the concierge lounge is extremely comfortable and relaxing and the breakfast experience is always outstanding, specifically due to Nikki's attention to detail, service, and her accommodating personality which is addictive! In the evening, Addis is also an extremely friendly and generous host!

Comfy beds. Nice looking bathroom.

Hot water didn't last long enough for 4 people to shower.
