Baoba Breeze Bed & Breakfast

My husband and I loved that the property was right on the beach, which is hard to find in Cabrera. The pictures don't do this home justice. Staying here was truly like being at a retreat. The hosts were delightful and very helpful. They provided us with restaurants and services in the area available during our stay and even offered to connect us to a trusted driver if needed. The breakfast on their covered patio overlooking the beach every morning was amazing; it felt like a dream. We stayed here the second week of Feb 2023 in the second-floor bedroom with a personal bath with an open balcony facing the ocean. The coconut trees in the yard provide nice shade and a breeze. Access to the beach from the backyard is possible, depending on whether the tide is high or low. There is a beach access a few feet away, the oceanfront is private, and the water is calm enough for swimming. My husband and I found that we had similar interests to the hosts and could sit and chit-chat with them in the evening, making the experience of staying in the home of someone you don't know more familiar and intimate. It was like we were staying with friends. This was our first experience at a bed and breakfast; it was everything we could have hoped for and more. Carmen and Angel are amazing hosts making themselves available while still giving us privacy. There is no air conditioning or TV in the room, forcing us to access nature and disconnect from the rest of the world for a few days. If you are considering this Bed and breakfast, look no further and just book it. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

There was truly nothing we did not like. We have become accustomed to some things back home that we missed, but that was not a deal breaker for us. You need a driver or a rental car to get around. This amazing bed and breakfast is remote. They are close enough to things but not close enough to walk to stores or restaurants. This worked because we were looking for a remote stay in nature and had a driver. There is no access to the kitchen, but at our request, Carmen and Angel did provide a mini fridge for the room to keep drinks that we didn't even consume. I was not sad that I didn't have to cook during vacation :). The area is considered Cabrera but is a few miles from the city center, making it mandatory to have your own transportation.
