"You have a reservation, but we don’t have a room"

Recall the Seinfeld episode where Jerry made a reservation for a rental car, but when he showed up at the rental counter they didn’t have a car reserved for him? Well that sums up our recent encounter with this Courtyard. The day we were to arrive we received a notification that they had unilaterally moved us to the Residence Inn (another Marriott hotel). We stopped at the Courtyard to find out what was going on and we were told “they couldn’t honor our reservation because they were full” so they moved us to the Residence Inn. The Residence Inn is right around the corner so the location was alright, but the Residence has no cafe/restaurant while the Courtyard does…an inconvenience. I’m sure our stay at the Courtyard would have been fine, but not to honor a reservation is a little odd…

"Overpriced! No continental breakfast!! Noise located near freeway!"

The room was large, bed confortable.

Dim lighting, noise from freeway, nearly no counter space by sink. No area or shelf to set things on in bathroom. No continental breakfast for a $200 plus room!!

"Hotel was fine but room smelled like stale cigarette smoke"

The hotel was fine and the employees were very nice. It was easy to get to and this was our first time in the area so had to solely rely on GPS. It is not super updated but the furniture was fine and the bed was comfortable. I gave it 3 stars because the room smelled like stale cigarette smoke. The hallway also smelled like cigarette smoke. Because of the odor I probably would not stay here again, but if that isn't something that bothers you the hotel was good for the price I paid.

"Superb"

The bed was extremely comfortable bed and had high quality bedding. I requested a quiet room and was very happy with the room provided. The level of sound proofing was also very good.

Some of the bathroom fixtures were a little old, but still reasonable quality overall.
