the decor was very modern and it was incredibly clean

I chose this property specifically because it had allocated parking. I received a message shortly before our arrival date to say parking was no longer available and so we had to park in the nearest pay and display which cost us an extra £30. This was very disappointing and had I known allocated parking wouldn’t be an option for this accommodation I would’ve booked elsewhere. by the time we were informed about the parking situation it was too late for me to find alternative accommodation and so we had no choice but to pay the ridiculously overpriced parking costs.

Great location for grocery shopping, walking into Bath, and along the river. Also, free street parking and good restaurants nearby.

The location was great. It was only a 10-15minute walk to everywhere we had to go.

The apartment is reasonably spacious, and the location is great - easy walk into town, and supermarket right next door.

The apartment had really only been given a surface clean, and was actually bordering on being dirty - hair still on bathroom mat, mould in shower, grime on window sills, crumbs under kitchen table, torn bed linen, rusty kitchen dish draining rack, rusty toilet roll stand. The apartment really needs to be thoroughly cleaned (walls, windows, floor, tiles, grout). One of the legs on the kitchen table was almost falling off (hanging loose), which made the table quite unstable, and probably dangerous. The iron wasn't very usable, as the water well was cracked and leaked water. The single lock on the apartment door is very flimsy, and would not take to much effort for someone to break in. It really needs a more secure lock, or a 2nd lock put on the door. This is even more critical, given that the single lock on the main front door is also quite flimsy. But by fair the most annoying issue was with regards to car parking. The apartment was booked on the basis of free car parking being available at the apartment. A few weeks before our stay, I received a message from the apartment managers stating that due to Bath now being a Clean Air city, they no longer had car parking available, and that I would need to park at a public car park - the closest of which was about 6 blocks away!!! Not only did I not get any refund with regards to the lack of parking now, but I also ended up being almost 93 GBP out of pocket with additional costs for car parking. Added to this, no-one could give me information about how to go about using the MiPermit car parking in Bath - the apartment people told me to contact MiPermit, MiPermit told me to contact the Council, and the Council simply did not reply to my questions. As an overseas visitor to Bath for the first time, this made the entire visit very stressful and unsatisfying. Even more so when the apartment managers could have provided Visitor Parking Permits, rather than simply offloading the problem to Me, the visitor.

The location was perfect. A supermarket 2 minutes walk, central Bath less than 10 minutes walk. The apartment was perfect for the 2 of us. A nice touch to have soap, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom, along with an excellent kitchen with some tea, coffee and sugar sachets.

A personal preference, but the sofa, although comfortable, had a low back so nothing to rest your head against. That’s just us being picky.

We would have liked to use the garden. Needs new pillows. The iron was leaking water, and no steam. No parking permit.
