Days Inn by Wyndham Albany

Don’t believe the pictures… they are completely misleading. This place was filthy and disgusting. Non smoking room smelled like stale smoke and agitated me and my Children’s’ allergies. Smoke detector was tampered with and hanging off the wall. Mold covered the bathroom and sink, and grime coated all the furniture, walls, and carpet. The neighborhood was— shady— to put it mildly. I did not feel safe or comfortable here.

This place is NASTY!!! It’s under construction because of new management but there are only 4 rooms available? People live here. It smells like urine everywhere and marijuana and is totally nasty! No breakfast but it’s advertised-I wouldn’t eat it if it was offered though because this place is so dirty-everywhere. They should have closed this place until renovations are done. There is trash everywhere and the room is gross. The sheets look clean but the pillows are so used and yellowed and stained and flat. I’m afraid to find roaches when I get up in the middle of the night. There is no toilet paper, the carpet hasn’t been vacuumed, the towels are dirty and there is someone’s left over shampoo and soap bars along with long hair in the shower. The only nice thing about this place was the guy who checked us in. I can’t believe I paid $70 for this POS place! It’s not refundable or we would leave. The pool is green but I think that’s because it has not opened yet.

Black mold everywhere!!! Water faucet wouldn’t cut off !!! Tv stuck on one channel(not appropriate for a 5 yr old), remote was broken. Room reeked of pot and cigarette smoke !!! Was afraid to even sleep under cover because of the disgusting atmosphere

After being re-assigned twice because of issues in the room (first one lock didn't work, second one was smoking) the third room also had lock issues, the key needed reprogrammed daily, the bathroom outlet was hanging out of the wall, the floor lamp plug was cut so it didn't work. 1 of the 4 bulbs in the vanity light worked. That's right THREE were not working. I would continue but I think I'm running out of characters. Don't stay here.

It was okay. The hotel staff was nice and the room were pretty clean...The only thing I didn't like was that the room door was facing the outside...

Nice staff quick check-in comfortable bed, Nice flat screen TV, that's it for the niceties. Questionable security, Old door locks, dirty outside,broken ice machine, Old and run down rooms, majority of the clientele are workers that get up very early talk loudly outside at 5:30 AM slamming their gear into their trucks waking you up. As for the other guests, they were loud and obnoxious inconsiderate and loud, expecting better for about $60 a night. As for the continental breakfast it was oatmeal and stale bread coffee and orange juice. The coffee and orange juice was satisfying, however the coffee machine in the room was broken and dirty. To sum it up, I won't be returning.

The check-in went well, not problems. The room had a bad odor. I"m glad I brought my own air freshener. The bed had, what looked like, a baby oil stain on the outside cover. I DID NOT request a smoking room! I don't know how that happened, and the hotel was all booked up and I couldn't get a room change. I saw a bug in the room. The pillow cases and bedding was clean and the internet worked fine. It was a "NO FRILLS STAY"! Ernest from Atlanta
