A29 - Calheta House in Luz by DreamAlgarve

The location was perfect.

No washing machine. No beach towels The cleaners came and cleaned apartment after 2 days. They changed the bed and replaced towels with clean ones. I expected that 2 days later the towels would be changed again, but unfortunately, this was not the case. I telephoned the office twice, I also sent emails and text messages. I was assured towels would be sent, but they did not arrive until after 8pm on the Saturday and we were leaving at 7.30 am the next morning. There was no washing machine so I would exp3ct that towels should be changed regularly. The apartment could also do with a bit of a deep clean, especially in the lounge area. That being said, I would return to this apartment.

Beware that you have to pick up the key in a different city. We were hiking the fisherman’s trail so it was inconvenient for us. The staff at Dreamalgarve were super unresponsive and unhelpful when we messaged them for any flexibility or to cancel the stay. The bathroom has mold and the whole apartment smells musty. Furniture is old/cheap and falling apart. The view is great from the balcony and there are many restaurants around so that is one plus.

Location was great & view! If the apartment had the right amenities/host replied it would be great!

Picking up the keys from another location first, Communication with host - there was no reply, lack of standard supplies in apartment like enough toilet paper, & blankets for amount of people, heaters & kitchen cleaning supplies (tea towels, cleaning cloths) so we can keep the place tidy for the host! We did message on the first day after we ran out of toilet paper, but we couldn’t reach the host! The bedroom needs curtains, we just used the towels to block the light at night.
