Smáratún Farm Eco Lodges

Cabin was spacious, clean, comfortable in a quiet secluded location. Views out of the cabin of surrounding mountains were beautiful. Definitely a peaceful, rejuvenating place to spend a couple of nights. Our only complaint were the houseflies. Being from a farm area in the US, we know that with farms come flies. But by the end of the two days the number of flies became a bit annoying -- the staff need to do something to reduce this problem.

The property is located in a very picturesque setting. The cabin was OK, the sheets were not cleaned well, locally there were other clean beds to use. The staff at the front desk was very nice and helpful. Size of the cabin was spacious for 2 people, however it lacked a canopy over the front door to take advantage of the long day, as it was raining. Overall it was a nice stay, close proximity to off-roading and other sites.

STAY HERE!! This property was so lovely. The front desk attendant was so kind and enjoyable. He showed us to our cabin, talked to us about the things to do around the area, and made us feel at home. We're planning a trip next year, and we will definitely be staying here again!
