Personnel amical. Vue très agréable sur un petit jardin et vue sur la mer. Excellent déjeuner varié, maison. Chambre propre au goût du jour. Situé à deux pas de la plage, Nous le recommandons

The thing to understand about this place is that they have essentially two separate accommodations - the ‘suites’ and the ‘apartments’. This is not apparent and misleading. The ‘suites’ are new stylish units that are advertised in most of the photos you see. These are no more than a couple of years old or less. They have a nice garden and are right beside the beach. They no doubt look great and appear to be a good value. The ‘apartments’ are probably ~40 years older and very rustic/outdated. They are set further back from the beach and you can see the ocean a little, but the view is mainly of the back of a restaurant. There are few photos of these and they are not significantly cheaper (~10-20€). Since you typically do not have to investigate if a hotel has 1 really old version and 1 new version of their rooms you assume the less expensive rooms will be relative with the photos all over the website. This should really be two different hotels. The staff was friendly enough and the the location was nice, but the room was not what was expected for the reasons above. Book the ‘suites’, avoid the ‘apartments’.

We stayed here for a relaxing couple of days on our island hopping holiday but got so much more. The Hotel is set back about 50m from the road and the Glaronissi Restaurant (No affiliation to the Hotel) and surrounded by fields. It’s in a very convenient location, close to the beautiful beach at the front, and within walking distance from excellent cocktail bars & restaurants. When we arrived we were warmly welcomed by Betty as if we were family come to visit. Check-in was quick and painless and we were shown to our room which was the Superior Apartment with Sea View. The hotel has 2 buildings, a new, more expensive one and an older, more rustic one. We stayed in the older building, the room was basic but spacious, clean and tastefully decorated and had an old style authentic charm. Facilities included a kettle, extending clothes airer, good storage space, plenty of utensils & a modern, clean bathroom but no safe. Our wardrobe was lockable so we improvised by using this to lock away our valuables. The room opened onto the balcony with a beautiful view of the surrounding fields with Betty’s beautiful horses and the sea beyond. It had a table and chairs that we used in the evening when we returned. The free WIFI was basic speed as most places we’d visited. Breakfast was good with local Naxian Yoghurt, fresh fruit, honey, eggs, & much more. Betty, her family & the wonderful staff made us feel very welcome. We arrived as guests but left as friends. We would definitely return.

Chambre parfaite avec un excellent emplacement face à la plage. Personnel agréable et serviable. La décoration des chambres est soignée, belle terrasse, beau jardin, bon petit déjeuner et très propre.

Fantastic sea view room. Beautifully decorated, modern amenities, private (to your neighbours) balcony, great breakfast. Betty, the host, is very welcoming and helpful. We will book up early for next year as Glaronissi will be busy with the new renovations. Thank you Betty.
