Fresh eggs and very helpful staff. Fully stocked kitchen with all the tools you would need for a great meal.

There was a buzzing in the kitchen that would not go off coming from the pizza oven. We couldn't hear it while we were sleeping, though.

It was a spectacular place to stay for a long weekend getaway from Seattle. Riley was a great host, very accommodating, that went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Lummi island has a small town vibe with local farmers markets that is very relaxing without being overly commercialized. We loved it there and will return!

We had fresh eggs, bacon, bread, butter, jam, and fresh ground coffee for breakfast. Yes we had to make it ourselves, but that was fine with us. Our own time

It would have been nice to see the water, however the relaxing and serene feeling of the farm over shadowed the water. And the water was just a minute away.

The location was about a 10 minute drive from the ferry terminal on Lummi, in a private forested area a few minutes away from the beach. There was no beach view, but it was very quiet. The apartment we stayed in was very large and could host several couples. The kitchen amenities were unbelievable -- nearly all the appliances you could ask for in a home-away-from-home and even a pizza oven! This was our first time on Lummi, and we appreciated the fact that the ferry ran much more frequently than those that go to the San Juan Islands, so it felt much more accessible from the mainland. For that reason, we can see going there and staying here on a whim (provided there's room, of course).

I can think of no real downsides, other than the fact that Lummi is a small island with few amenities (like restaurants). A Lummi stay is for those who are looking for relaxation as opposed to stimulation. That said, the host offers access to beach kayaks, and there are a couple of hiking trails worth taking.
