They staff were helpful - although there was no parking space in the yard as we booked, I received a parking card to park until 10am on the street. Location is great - in the very middle of a small city.

The place is run by a fully Indian staff. That is fine, the only drawback is that if in the middle of a little German city, in an old German house, you expected a traditional German hospitality and food, you may be disappointed. The breakfast for example was pathetic with the worst coffee you can(not) imagine. And at 15 minutes before the early end of the breakfast they started taking it away from the hands of the few guests saying they need to prepare for lunch (!) The house is renovated with nothing left to be seen from the old house, but without modern convenience or air conditioning.

The beds were comfortable, bathroom and shower was good, suitable parking.

Requested a cot through booking.com, didn't materialize in the room till past 2100 (6 month old child), the travel cot was also broken and held together with tape in the centre foot. Of the two rooms there were disparities e.g. chocolates in one room and not the other. 1 single small bottle of water for two guests per room. I was told I had to pre book a vegan breakfast but wasn't mentioned on booking.com so one guest went without breakfast, however when going to pay the hotel argued if they had a coffee etc (they didn't) and wanted my to pay. Breakfast was very basic you will find better in the bakery across the road at a comparable price. The staff were quite rude towards the four of us.

Brilliant location, nice and quiet despite being in a small town centre. Lovely food (and you had the option of Indian cuisine if you wished
