Netherton Guest House

A real gem in the Highlands! The farm setting is idillic and our host was friendly and fascinating. And don’t miss the nearby Culbokie pub for a good dinner and local flavor.

Can highly recommend this guest house. Superb views from the en-suite room and breakfast room, comfy bed, clean and the host is excellent. Breakfast is cooked to order and fresh and all diets are catered for. There is plenty of parking on-site, places to eat in the local village and places within a short drive. Easy access to the coast road.

It was a comfortable and quiet stay.

As pre previous reviews we were made very welcome. The room was very clean and the breakfast kept us going all day!

Of the 5 locations that we stayed at during our travels in Scotland, this was, by far, the best place! Our room was large, but cozy with an Amazing view, and a super comfortable bed. The decor was beautiful and perfect for the large farmhouse style. The breakfast was Excellent, and catered easily to our dietary needs. (Gluten free, and Lactose free) And our hostess, Romy, was very charming and helpful with suggestions about what local attractions we should see. I wish that we had been able to stay there longer, and I'm recommending this B & B to anyone that I know will be visiting the Highlands and Inverness area.

Our host was friendly and very welcoming, giving us advice on where to eat and visit - even making a booking for us for dinner. The breakfast was outstanding- we skipped lunch after eating it!

Our stay at Netherton Guest House was amazing. We loved the quaint and beautiful atmosphere of the place. The rooms were spacious with the most comfortable bed of our entire vacation. It had beautiful antique furniture, was extremely clean and very quiet. It also had a spectacular view from our windows. The breakfast was exceptional and I really enjoyed Romay the proprietor.

Friendly and welcoming. Comfortable and clean. easy access to Inverness and Dingwall but with the quiet of the countryside and great views. Score - 11/10

Good stay by the bay area

Hidden gem. Well worth a visit. Inverness and Dingwall only minutes away but out in the countryside with fantastic views. Charming host and plenty of choices for breakfast. Quiet and secluded, within walking distance of the Culbokie Inn where there's an excellent menu and local beers. Highly recommended.
