Star Walk Camp

My teenage daughter and I booked the half-day Wadi Rum jeep tour followed by tea at sunset then dinner, overnight in camp, and breakfast. Great experience, all very easy to book and efficiently run. Good value for money. Special mention to Bedouin guide Abood who is warm and funny and knowledgeable and goes out of his way to make the trip an unforgettable experience.

Great place - lovely food (but be aware no variation the next day if staying 2 + nights). Jeep Safari with Abdullah was fantastic. He entertained my daughter very well by taking her climbing and introducing her to Bedouin culture. I do recommend this place and it is the "real" wadi rum. Be wary of wadi rum accommodation offering air conditioned rooms - that is not in the "real" wadi rum but in "fake" wadi rum on the outskirts!

Hard to find - owner relies on "location services of google maps" but would help if more specific in actual booking.. Had arranged arrival in the middle of the day to go on camel ride that evening with jeep safari (full day the next day). Was informed on arrival that could not do camel ride that evening. If had known, we would have left Petra later and arrived at Star Walk in the evening rather than hanging around in the heat of the day. So perhaps a bit more advice on booking the tours would be appreciated. In the end we decided not to do the camel ride.

Beautiful small and cosy camp with good food and nice atmosphere. Very peaceful location with best sunset view just behind the camp. Friendly owner, chef and tour guides. At night the sky full of stars. Comfortable, big and very clean tents with bathrooms and hot water. Thank you for having us!

We had a wonderful experience in Wadi Rum with Ahmad. Nice traditional dinner with chicken cooked under the sand and it was good chatting with other people and share our experiences. We also took a wonderful Jeep Tour in the desert as well as the Camel Tour. Highly recommended!

Best place to stay in Wadi Rum, if you are looking for an amazing experience in the desert in a beautiful and comfortable camp with delicious food, go for it. Everyone is very friendly and helpful, you will feel instantly at home. Also the place is perfect to enjoy the beautiful sunset at the end of the day. I would definitely come back

Star Walk Camp, was the absolute best experience.Ahmad and his family are the kindest people, who go above and beyond to ensure their guests have the best experience. We had dinner around the fire while sharing stories and laughs, before dancing traditional dances and clapping along to arabic music. The food was incredible. Can not recommend Ahmad and his camp enough!
