Cove Haven Resort

I'm going to give it a 3 because the food was good and my room was clean; the staff was friendly. Other than that, in the winter, the sports are outdoors so you can't do mini golf, tennis nor pickleball. We went in February and they didn't shovel these areas. They stopped doing winter tubing. They only have snowshoeing, but they don't make their own snow. During the weekday there isn't any entertainment. The other indoor activities are pool tables, darts, duck pin bowling, arcade and they have an indoor pool and jacuzzi. The decor is older but that is expected from them. I think spring, summer and fall may be a better time to visit due to the outdoor activities being available.

The food was excellent tasty and very enjoyable I also love dinner as well

The hot tub in room and out was cold I would have preferred hot water in my hot tub pluse the water in my pool was supposed to be heated but that was also cold. my shower was clogged overflowed when i showered Also the jewelry box hidden on property was out door got no hints and it was freezing I looked the hole day and nothing next time give hints and have it in doors when it's snowing and freezing thank you.

This was our first and last time at the resort We spent over 900 dollars for a 2 night get away. The rooms were old and out dated. The food was just ok. There was no entertainment! There was a old arcade and game room that half the stuff didnt work. The resort is over run with deer we had to be careful not to drag our luggage in the poop. Over priced and not worth it.

I’ve always wanted to experience the Poconos heart shaped jacuzzis. So on a whim, my husband and I booked a night stay. Good parts - staff are lovely and go above and beyond. The rooms are fun and you definitely feel like you’re in the 80s. Bad - the rooms are dated and not in a good way. The carpet in the sauna room is filthy. The bar was dirty and needed a quick wipe down. Also I was not expecting the deer. Deer are everywhere and beg for food. Also there is no way to get water off hours. Just strange for a large resort. Food was meh. I wouldn’t do the breakfast and dinner. I will be back to give the resort a chance in the summer
