Hampton Inn Fall River/Westport

We couldn’t have chosen a better location. Staff was very accommodating. Room was very clean and well appointed. The only down side was breakfast. There were no healthy choices. All though the eggs, sausage and potatoes were cooked well, they were not tasty. The baked good were mediocre. Waffle batter was just ok. Varueties if fruit, yogurt, etc. would be a welcome addition.

I liked that the room was spacious and quiet. I had booked a suite and the bed as well as the sofa bed were comfortable. The breakfast was fine except for the use of paper plates and plasticware. It would be better to have real plates and silverware.

1)We did not like the barn door style for the bathroom. It was noisy especially when you need to be quiet while your spouse is sleeping. 2)The TV streaming and remote was frustrating and hard to figure out. There was no info on how to use the remote and after a long day who wants to deal with that? 3)The shades were noisy and tedious to open by pulling on chains. 4)The shower dial was worn down so you couldn't see the hot or cold labels. So you had stand there and by trail and error you finally found the spot. 5)Finally toilet seat was a little loose and one of the covers to the mounting screw was not attached. It was not a safety issue just a detail we noticed. On the upside - Staff was very good and pleasant - room was cleaned with clean towels added everyday. Breakfast as always is appreciated and pretty darn good. We also like the location and parking was never an issue. Overall we will return but hope some of these things will get better with time.
