Comfort Inn Huntington Near University

The hotel does the job. It’s clean but smells like smoke

Enjoyed our quick overnight stay.

Older hotel, but clean. Friendly staff. Typical breakfast - eggs, sausage, cereal, waffles. Chain restaurants in the area. Not much to do in the area. Ft. Wayne is approx 35 miles away - lots to do there. We'll stay at this hotel again when traveling

This is my second time staying at this location. Location was great, close to family and businesses. I wouldn't say the outstanding, but was definitely worth staying.

Breakfast was ok, but the coffee was not so good - very weak and got weaker as the morning went on. Coffee is important!!! We were in a handicapped room, but strangely the toilet is standard. This is lower that a lot of handicapped patrons would be comfortable with.

The shower curtain rod prevents the curtains from closing all the way so water gets outside the shower, and our fridge/microwave was off. Staff was wonderful at coming right in and fixing the fridge and was friendly.

Cleanliness and free breakfast in the morning. It was also a close drive to see the eclipse

The swimming pool could use a little TLC - they also ran out of towels

Ian was very friendly at the front desk. The hotel was very clean and our room was wonderful.Beds were comfy and the room and bathroom were very clean. Room 241 was very quiet. We didn’t partake in their breakfast because we were in a hurry but it looked good. It had lots of choices.
