Shilo Inn Suites - Idaho Falls

Perfectly acceptable. Room was large and clean, and bed was comfy. Pool, hot tub and steam room were great. And, because there were only 20 guests in the entire hotel, breakfast was table service instead of buffet. Only odd thing was that in a nearly empty hotel, we were given a parking lot view room. They said it would be an extra $50 for a river view so we decided since we were only staying one night that we would pass. Seems like a lost opportunity on their part to build some very good will.

What an amazing find! This is a hotel that obviously had a grand past, though it seems not many know about it now. The rooms are spacious, with a separate wet bar, table and chairs, sofa, comfortable bed, plenty of space for luggage, and on the riverside a balcony with beautiful views, and a large lawn along the canal, with direct access to the Idaho Falls River Walk. A nice touch is that the rooms have real glassware and coffee mugs. There is a restaurant and bar as well. Free sit down breakfasts are served in the restaurant. An incredibly large parking lot with convention facilities. This will become a regular for us.

Had a great breakfast

Hot and moldy smelling. The room had a dirty shower curtain looked like it was there since the 1800 hundreds. Couch in room was dirty and stained. Bed was lumpy mattress. Feeling like I got ripped off for the price I paid. Room had limited amenities.

This place is way overpriced for what the acual building has to offer, a Motel 6, and a Local Lodge offers way better commodities and cleanliness. The place is outdated, The Ac blows Humid air, the place smells like wet dog and we were only able to stay there a night. Never staying there again or recommending this place for anything specially if you’re traveling with family. Not to mention everything is falling apart and the water drains are green.

This hotel could be great if it was cleaned!!! Our rooms were FILTHY!!!!! Ice bucket had used Q-tips and to go coffee cup in it. The last guest had obviously used as garbage can and no one bothered to look in it. the bathroom was so gross I had to clean it. The dust on the furniture made piles when you wiped it. My son and his girlfriend had the same problem minus the ice bucket...instead when they walked into their room the refrigerator door was open , like someone was in the middle of cleaning and forgot to finish? Went down in the morning to get coffee. The restaurant was just as bad. Breakfast buffet had an inch of dust on the counter around it. The wall by the garbage can that was by the buffet had not been wiped for months. Food stuck on it and stuff running down stuck on. When I spoke to someone they didn't give a crap, said Oh I'm sorry that's too bad We did not have time to find another place to stay or I would have. If you stay here bring cleaning supplies with you.

Room was nice. But shower and tub had mold that was black. The carpet was old and worn.
