Knights Inn Emporia

Place was very clean and you could tell the owner was doing some remodeling on rooms. The bed was surprisingly very comfortable and the owner was very friendly and accommodating. Can’t ask for much more for a hotel room under $50. I come through the area regularly and will stay here again.

Construction going on. Cereal only for breakfast. This is an old motel that's currently being renovated. Scary looking place, too. But for the money, I guess it's good enough to spend the night - just to sleep and nothing else. I won't recommend this place even to my worst enemy. The man at the counter is friendly though.

Very lovely, clean and simple room. The front desk person is very friendly. If you have a service dog though, be aware that you will be charged a pet fee unless you have those fake certificates from the internet. He seemed to think that service dogs required them.

The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room was very basic and the only toiletry was soap.

The motel itself is not far off i-95 and was very quiet except for an occasional train. Manager was very pleasant and accommodating. There was new quality carpeting in the room and it was very clean. There could be a bit more for the continental breakfast. Maybe a piece of fruit. There was cereal only.

No smoke detector in room,outdated furniture,lamps on either side of bed not working.

Older 301 motel with easy access and very budget friendly. Actually got a pretty decent sleep before back on the road.

Owners were pleasant. Breakfast was disappointing. Just coffee.

What is really wrong with this property is . It advertises free continental breakfast . There is one dining table with 4 chairs . About 100 units on property . Breakfast is Rice Krispies or Corn Flakes . Not even put out . Small coffee machine with coffee already in. (don't know how long ) It would be so much better if they left it off and charged a cgeaper room rate . I booked at $43 for two adults ,room with 2 double beds . Check out and it comes to $53 before tax . Why ??? Because of the 2nd adult ?? Because of the free continental breakfast ?? Does not make sense and seem legitimate to me . Either its $43 or not. I feel like I've been scammed . I could use the $10 for breakfast elsewhere ....

Clean room for a night. No frills, low end motel. well lit and was adequate for an extended nap to recharge close to the highway. pleasant service at all hours.
