We really enjoyed our one night stay. The hotel was easy to get to & very easy for us to get into Rotterdam via the metro. The parking is a little pricey at €32 given most guests will only be there overnight….however it’s secure & off road & I didn’t have to worry about the car. Note: the access point to the garage is before the hotel on a one way street but you can’t access it till you’ve checked in. It’s also a very narrow access point. We loved our stay, the room was clean & comfortable & breakfast was great with a wide range of options & we enjoyed sitting outside on the terrace. The staff were friendly & helpful.

The downstairs room we stayed in had a bit of an odd smell (toilet smell/ drains?) but this didn’t detract from our stay

I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Van Walsum in Rotterdam. The hotel has a warm and cozy atmosphere that made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. Although my room was not very large, it was comfortable and well organized, making good use of the available space. A nice touch was the coffee machine in the room, which was perfect for a morning coffee or a relaxing break after a day of sightseeing. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide selection of dishes, including fresh fruit and plenty of options to suit different tastes. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout my stay, always ready to help when needed. The hotel is not particularly close to the main railway station, but it is easy to reach by tram, so getting around Rotterdam was not a problem. Overall, Hotel Van Walsum is a charming and comfortable hotel with great breakfast, friendly service, and a cozy atmosphere. I would happily stay there again.

Perfect location at the heart of Rotterdam, a few minutes away from the central station. Room was spacious and staff has been very polite throughout my stay.
