"Good hotel with good food"

A very comfortable, modern hotel with a room big enough for two adults and two children (without them having to share a bed. Table tennis outside and free internet was a definite hit with older children. We were also pleasantly surprised with good vegetarian options on the menu (not always easy in France!). the staff were polite and helpful. We loved the recycled garden furniture - definitely a project when we get home.

"En route to Calais stopover"

Great hotel welcome, little bag for my son. Room was really good at back end of hotel, great space. Great breakfast, just what was needed before another long drive. Great room TVs, wifi etc. good stuff, best ibis experience

"Charming staff, good food"

Staff were helpful. Room was clean apart from the bottom of the shower/bath, which was dirty. I would have complained but did not notice it until using the shower in the morning. Hotel quite difficult to find despite directions and sat nav, which did not work in the immediate area. Received good directions from staff on way to M-way when leaving.The grounds of the hotel were lovely. The breakfast and dinner were good. Perfect coffee. Overall an enjoyable stay.

"Good overnight stop"

While a bit hard to find in an industrial area, this hotel was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. The two single beds were actually a pull out sofa bed and while hard were quite ok after a 30 hr flight. This hotel is a good choice for an overnight stay. Near by Amboise is a must.

"Excellent family friendly place for R&R"

We stopped here for a night whilst travelling from Normandy to Bordeaux. The room was comfortable, the reception area was stylish and the pool and playground were great for entertaining the kids. Highly recommended if you want a family friendly stop in Tours

"Stay at Ibis Tours Sud"

Hotel was fine. Great breakfast and brilliant facilities for children. Unfortunately one of our tyres got slashed overnight, even though the hotel is on a gated site. French police would not come out to write a crime report so the costs were on us.

"Nice enough stopover accomodation with children"

Stayed for one night on the way down to our 2 week holiday further south. Our two children were kept well occupied by table tennis, xbox, swimming pool during our stay. Comfortable enough.
