Nice filling breakfast and dorms with lockers, curtains and a/c. Located in the heart of Getsemani.

No hot water, but Cartagena is not that cold.

Everything. The location, the facilities, the cleanliness, the staff (except for the manager), the food, the drinks, the activities. Everything!

I had a xenophobic attack from the manager even though we are both Colombians. I don’t use nothing on my hands, I can’t even use jewelry because I have a really bad issue with liquid retention so I get swollen and using things on my hands and feet make it worse. During my first three nights, no staff requested me to use the hostel bracelet to identify me as a guest, they just knew me and if not, they would just have me reminding them my info and bed number. One night, the manager acted very rude and asked me where I was going instead of a nice “are you a guest?” and put me on a bracelet which I took away a few minutes after and saved it on my phone case, in case I was asked to show it once again. Later on, the manager asked me “colombian, right?” to what I said “yes”, and he replied “I can notice” (taking my wrist with his hand showing where he put the bracelet earlier). I kept everything to myself because I know me and I can be the rudest so I remained silent. This really annoyed me and made the rest of my stay (I booked three more nights) a little bit uncomfortable.

Affordable and good location

Bed was so short we had to find other accomodation. If over 6ft I would not recommend. Overall accom was quite dirty
