Lodge at The Old Barracks

Staff was really friendly, rooms were clean, and overall had a good time

They forgot to give us more toilet paper

Breakfast was lovely 😍

Nothing had a lovely stay. Slept like a log 😴

Clean, quiet room, very spacious. Comfortable beds and a lovely spacious bathroom.

Helpful staff when we arrived - took suitcase to room. Clean room, with comfortable beds, good shower room and towels. Good wif-fi and nice touches such as cakes on arrival and bottles of water. The manager kindly put us in a quieter room than we had booked. Restaurant staff good and hearty breakfast availlable.

Only one comfortable chair in room, no table/desk space, tea/coffee making facility a bit cramped.

The whole experience of staying at the old lodge was amazing beautiful room spotless clean plenty of towels, pillows even cake left for guests the restaurant with their dinners and desserts to die for plenty of good choices and selection to be made you would not be disappointed here.

Phoned and spoke to Scott to see if we could drop off our luggage as check in was at 3pm and we had an event to go to at that time. Scott informed me that I could drop off our luggage at any time. And then what can I say…Scott phoned me back a couple of minutes later and gave us an upgrade to a two bedroom apartment (with very comfortable beds)with a spacious living room and fully equipped kitchen! We were also able to check in early as well. Breakfast in the restaurant was delicious and great choices.
