Howard Johnson by Wyndham Vicksburg

The breakfast was nasty. Everything was dirty. The rooms and bathrooms smelled, we actually got our own cleaning supplies and cleaned ourselves. The ice machine didn't work, the TV didn't work. It was all around nasty. They lady that worked in the evening helped us get a cleaner room and was very helpful. But the cleaner room was still bad,but not as bad as the first. Everything is outdated also. I will never stay there again.

The night staff was absolutely amazing . However we didn't get checked in until 12:30am and paid $82.00 ( I don't mind the price ) but before 10 am the owner was beating on my door telling me if I wasn't going to spend another night I needed to hurry up and leave be cause he had reservations for that night . Was very rude and made us feel like myself and husband and our money wasn't good enough .and 11:02 am he was at our door beating on the door telling us we needed to leave right now and stood at our hotel room door and wouldn't allow us to close the door , the whole time he stood there watching us get our stuff together and made us feel very uncomfortable or that we were some type of criminals. Granted it was check out time but we are in the process of remodeling our home and our central a/c had went out the night we checked in and since we didn't check in till late and were completely wore out we slept till 11 . Since he had so many reservations I don't see the issue in giving us 10 to 15 mins to wake up and get ourselves together and out the door without him standing over us but thanks to the owner being so rude we ended up spending 4 nights at the motel 6 on frontage rd and they were absolutely wonderful . The gentleman that works night shift atHJ was absolutely amazing and that owner most definitely doesn't deserve him

Shower & mattress needs replaced

I checked out earlier than expected and was still charged for an extra night. The pool water looked filthy i was scared to get in and we didn't have large towels to dry after showering. Will not be returning.
