Myer Motel

My daughter and I stayed here for one night while on a genealogical trip to our ancestral lands. The staff was welcoming and the cabin was clean and comfortable. We felt safe and were grateful for the early check-in time. Yes, things are simple/basic and a bit worn but everything worked, it was very clean, and we will certainly return next time we come this way!

The owners were super friendly. The sheets were the most comfortable I ever used. The bed was great. The shower could have had a bit more pressure, and the price as a little high for what it was-but that was the going rate for the area, so... Overall it was great. Would stay there again.

Room 10: odd odor from AC, one bedside lamp did not work, other lamp was difficult to turn on (had to use phone flashlight at night), chair on porch was cracked. Mentioned to management but nothing done except fan was provided. Linens and bathroom were clean.

Always my favorite place to stay while traveling for work. The owner is lovely, the little cabins are perfect, I always feel so safe to the point that I can sleep with my windows open. I love it here.

Beautiful spot just outside of town. Very peaceful for late summer. Cottage style rooms. Enjoyed my stay of 3 nights here.
