Embassy Suites Cleveland - Beachwood

Worst Embassy Suites that I have visited. Happy hour did not happen until front desk was notified, then it took 1/2 an hour to set up, with limited choices. The toilet paper on the holder had wet spots. Breakfast was not the typical embassy suites quality. Eggs and pancakes had a medicine taste, and no diet coke in the soda fountain. Would stay somewhere cheaper for the quality that was received.

Kind of run down overpriced

The place was clean and smelled great. The front desk was very professional and greeted me everything I walked by. The breakfast was great. Lots of options. The cooked to order egg station was an unexpected treat.

The bathtub felt very unstable when you stopped into the shower. I think it is a plastic covering over an old tub and it felt like it. The sheer curtains wouldn't close all way. So I had to close the blackout shades to have privacy. I prefer to be able to see out of the window.

Location

I booked this stay due to the loss of my 2 year old granddaughter. I was accommodating family from out of town that came to support our family. The furniture in the suite was run down. And we was dress for church on Easter Sunday and went to eat breakfast. As we were eating the fire alarms went off due the heavy smoke from the grill cleaning. I saw the Manager running around and yelling at the grill staff. Our clothes were ruined with the smelled and we had to go to church smelling like smoke. I called the Customer Relations phone number to report all of this and never got a call back.
