Convenient location, short walk to City Center; clean house throughout; when you walk in, there's a sense of calm and quiet; beautifully updated, spacious room and bathroom; comfortable bed; Chris is a very thoughtful and personable host, and his cat has such personality (super friendly); wonderful breakfasts (in the cozy front room), including artisan bread from a local bakery; we appreciated his recommendations for places to visit and restaurants to try; we join other guests in giving Chris a 10.0 rating - thank you!

"Its a long drive to all the beautiful places but as we were there in December roads were quiet"

It was a 10 minute walk from the city centre so when we took a break from driving we walked around the town. The most amazing breakfast

Amazing breakfast, location was super convenient (10-15 minute walk from the main areas), host was available and super responsive.

The room was a bit cold at first, but there was a heater in the room ready for use that helped when needed so it wasn't a problem!

Chris es un gran anfitrión, atento a cada detalle y siempre disponible para cualquier cosa que necesitásemos. El desayuno estaba exquisito y la limpieza es de absoluto 10. Lo mejor de todo fue la visita de Patch, la gata tricolor más bonita de Inverness. Una estancia top.

La colazione è stata veramente una bomba. tutto buonissimo e preparato al momento in base alle nostre richieste. La camera era enorme con un bagno privato bellissimo ed un letto comodissimo. il proprietario è stato sempre gentilissimo e ci ha pure consigliato ottimamente dove andare a cenare la sera.

Situated within walking distance of the city centre, the Castle is located in a quiet residential area. Chris has gone out of his way to provide a comfortable, welcoming and relaxed place to stay. He is helpful and personable. Breakfast is generous and there are lots of options to suit all tastes. The complementary whisky and chocolates were much appreciated! Thank you
