Spark By Hilton Cleveland Beachwood

Room was clean, but did not have a microwave in it. You had to go to the lobby and use the community microwave. Refrigerator was small, so you could not put much in it.

Staff were extremely friendly. Room was clean and comfy and it was convenient for the location we were going to in twinsburg.

Ok, first thing you should know is this is not a new hotel. This is a newly renovated 2 story hotel. I saw this listed on Hotels.com, but there were no pictures available and no reviews at the time. So I called the hotel direct to ask why that may be and they told me it's because they just opened. I understood that as it was a new hotel which would stand to reason, given the lack of reviews and pics. Not new but they did do a pretty nice job updating the facility, the rooms anyway. The decor of the lobby, food area, hallways etc leave a bit to be desired. It was cramped, gaudy and a bit cheap looking. It's Hilton's motel level. I'm 5'9"and I could touch the drop ceiling in the hallways. As mentioned, the rooms were pretty nice TBH. They were clean, decent size and they didn't have a gaudy motel room look or feel. The beds were comfortable. There were plenty of pillows, the bathroom was nice, had a nice TV with a remote that actually worked and functioned properly, which has been an issue for me lately even in 4 Star hotels. It still had it's cheap distinctions, like the white (comical) plastic bucket they gave you for ice. But those were few. The AC worked well in the room was quiet. They're really isn't breakfast, just some cereal and bagels, etc. No hot buffet unfortunately. The front desk staff were very friendly 😉👍. This is not a high-end hotel, but that's ok. It wasn't meant to be I'm sure, because it was much more reasonably priced. Would I recommend?... 💯!

This the third time I've stayed at the Clarion Beachwood and it's my go-to hotel for my Cleveland trips.

Property is currently under construction. It does not look safe to stay in the building while renovations are being made. Rooms were filled with lots of dust an debris. There were lots of things that made this place feel unsafe

Very friendly front desk staff. The hotel is undergoing extensive renovations so it’s a construction site. I was aware of this,however, I didn’t expect it to be so bad. Only one wing is livable but room was clean and surprisingly quiet. I would be willing to stay again after renovations are completed.

Nice and affordable

The hotel was under construction and I was not aware until we got there how bad it was, there were only 1 hallway with very bad rooms, we didn’t wven hot breakfast, it smelled it was very dusty that my husbands allergies acted up and wasn’t able to sleep. Also acted up my sisters asthma. Front door to the hotel was broke and wouldn’t open so the men had to try to open it, It was supposed to be a valentines pleasure trip that ended up very ve traumatizing, hope you can please consider and please get back to me, greatly appreciated.

It was under construction, so it was a construction site. Everything was fine but I just didn't trust the cleanliness of my room.

Hotel was being renovated, which wasn't mentioned until i had booked. On the other hand, the price was suitably lower, so I would have booked even if I had known.
