Courtyard by Marriott New Haven Wallingford

This is an unpretentious place, and I didn't expect much. What a surprise! Room was great - comfortable bed, large TV, microwave, refrigerator, coffee, good room serice. I came for a tournament, and the facilities were fine. The real surpise was the restaurant. Low-key, order at the counter, but magnificent. For dinner one night, I had the tomato soup and 3-cheese grilled cheese, which was the best I've ever had. Quesadillas the other night were superb and filling. For breakfast, you get a small fresh fruit with many meals. The burrito is outstanding. The hotel also has an exercise room. Sadly, no pool. Still, a real winner

We had an excellent stay here for a parent’s weekend. It is close enough to a variety of good restaurants. The staff were very attentive to our needs. We were in a clean comfortable king suite and very professional service by Marci at the front desk who was wonderful.

Bathroom has low boy toilet bowls. Either need hand railing OR change toilet bowls!!!

Nice and easy for school visits highly recommended.

While I did not spend the night at this hotel (yet), in fact, I hadn't planned on even being here. The entire staff, especially Jay, were simply excellent! I had car trouble and found my self somewhat stranded at this hotel and all the staff were very helpful and accommodating in allowing me to leave my car on property while I finished my work trip in Boston. Jay kindly opened the Bistro early and I was able to have dinner (first meal of the treacherous day) and a drink! He even remembered my drink when I returned the following day. The two ladies at the front desk were also very sweet. The property is immaculate! No doubt that I would have had a peaceful nights sleep here.

Easy acess to 91 and 15. I always stay when I am there on business. Clean, friendly and quiet. 10/10 would recommend!

I will definitely stay in his hotel again. It was a great value for our money. The hotel was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the personnel was helpful and pleasant. No complaints at all.

Room 355 smells of cigarette smoke. Absolutely gross and NOT acceptable. Luckily the weather was pleasant enough to keep the balcony door open to let it air out. I let the front desk know. They said they would put a machine in there while we were out. I don’t believe they ever put the machine in there. I will say the staff was pleasant, respectful, and friendly. Rooms that smell of smoke are NOT okay and more needs to be done to ensure this is not the case. Only stayed for one night and needed a place to sleep otherwise I would’ve had to find another hotel.
