Accueil très sympathique, les propriétaires sont de bons ambassadeurs de leur région. Chambre propre et confortable. Très bon petit déjeuner.

I found this to be a traditional Chambre d'Hôte, where you don't feel you are in a hotel but rather a guest in the house of the owners. My room was comfortable and quiet, the breakfasts were very good, and the hosts were welcoming. What more do you need? The house is about a 10-minute walk from Gaillac across the river. It is also a fairly short drive into Albi, which is a small city that is well worth exploring.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Sehr schön eingerichtetes, sauberes Zimmer. Äusserst angenehme Gastgeber und ein aussergewöhnlich gutes Frühstück mit viel Selbstgemachtem!

We'd definitely recommend The Squirrel's Nest. A lovely house and owners. Our room was great, spacious en suite bathroom, air conditioning which with temperatures of 40 degrees outside (canicule), was really appreciated, tea and coffee making facilities on the landing. An easy walk into Gaillac for dinner (bring a torch) and not far from routes to Albi and Toulouse. Breakfast outside in the shade of trees and the company of other guests and our hosts was delightful. Croissants, bread, homemade jams and cake, as well as freshly made crepes. Merci Michel et Marie.
