The location was fantastic. Absolutely stunning. Beautiful white sandy beaches, coral reef, turtles right off the beach. It was amazing! We went in November and it was quiet season. No idea why, perfect time to go!!

The service by staff was very hit and miss. The food was also very expensive. They said they had a snack menu but when asked, it wasn't available. Suggest not to get a ground floor Fale by the gardens as it is close to the service entrance (noisy) and staff kept walking along the walls to get to places/gardening (thus no privacy). Not a lot of options for young children.

IMHO, Lacks proper maintenance and tlc. Food is just ok.

We stayed in one of the overwater bungalows and absolutely loved it. The room was beautiful with a stunning view and great amenities. There was convenient on site parking, and the resort itself felt peaceful and private which we really appreciated. The food was delicious, especially the Koko Samoa. The staff were friendly and accommodating, with a special mention to Genesis for looking after us so well. When we return to Samoa, we would definitely come back and stay at Coconuts again.

The bed was quite firm, and we both woke up with sore necks and backs. It’s also a bit of a drive from Coconuts to Apia, so if you don’t have a rental vehicle, that’s something to keep in mind. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay :)

Roomy and comfortable villa, beautiful gardens, excellent menu, well prepared featuring local produce and seafood. Welcoming staff.

Location! The beach! And surrounding nature. Restaurant staff is friendly and attentive. The hotel is not crowded. Free airport transfer is a huge advantage. We have enjoyed the show night and native food cooking, that was really interesting.

The hotel itself is a bit tired. The reception (boy and young girl were attentive) however the older girl was uninterested and not paying attention. The hotel is very expensive to compare it to other Samoa’s places and its breakfast is poor- only continental breakfast is available free of charge ( you get 2 croissants or toast, jam, butter, coffee, juice and fruit). If you want something else- you need to pay extra ( average price 45 tala).
