The Kahala Hotel and Resort

Our stay was amazing, but expensive. The rooms were very spacious, our view to the golf course spectacular.

Die Lage des Hotels ( „Beverly Hills“ von Honolulu ) ist unschlagbar zwischen Strand und Golfplatz ( wo man vom Balkon aus Ex Präsident Obama Golf spielen sehen konnte ). Der Strand ist zwar öffentlich, aber nicht überlaufen. Die Poolanlage ist „ old Hawaii „ und die Delphine erfreuten die hauptsächlich japanischen Gäste und Kinder. Tip. Im Golf Clubhaus gibt es günstige warme Snacks. Prima war der kostenlose Shuttlebus bis Innenstadt Waikīkī.

Beim Frühstücksbüffet für 55.-$ muss man bis zu 30 Minuten warten, bis man eingelassen wird. Meine booking.com Reservierung war „ Zimmer mit Balkon Bergblick“. Es wurde uns ein Zimmer ohne Balkon zugeteilt. Auf Nachfrage und Beleg bekamen wir dann ein herrliches Eckzimmer im 8. Stock. Die Preise auf Hawaii besonders an Weihnachten sind überteuert. Kontinentales Frühstück als Room Service 90.—$, 1 Coca Cola aufs Zimmer 19.— $

dining options were limited. Arancinos was great but always fully booked and unfortunately Plumeria was only offering a Christmas $125 buffet (severely overpriced for a buffet in my opinion) or a very reduced à la carte which wasn’t sufficient for a 4 night stay. Given that the hotel is pretty far away from other dining options you had to either eat at the same restaurants over and over or travel into Waikiki which immediately means cost of Ubers each way. I was also very surprised to see that the hotel thought it was acceptable in this age to be keeping Dolphins in very small enclosures for fabricated “dolphin encounters”. It was quite heartbreaking to see these poor animals swimming around such tiny spaces. If they removed this from the hotel grounds there would be so much more space for a second pool and the animals wouldn’t be trapped in such an unacceptable environment.

Was sent here by a friend to finally take time for self-care. The Spa receptionist was amazing and managed to squeeze me in last-minute just a couple hours before my appointment. My esthetician, Saori, was so gentle, beautiful and kind. She has such a peaceful energy about her and made me feel at ease. The facial and the head and shoulder massage were wonderful. My only complaint is that I wish it were longer. At the end of the service, she guided me to the outdoor cabana where I am now writing this review with the light trade winds, the sound of swaying palm trees, the company of feathered friends eyeing out my cookie while I enjoy a cup of warm tea. I also appreciate Saori’s recommendation for my skin and the little sample products she sent me home with. Coincidently, I grew up in this area but have always done my treatments elsewhere, but this experience is one I never knew I needed and will be back for the 90-minute treatment! 😆

If you are looking for the best deep tissue but relaxing massage ask for Yuki❤️. Her techniques for relaxing y neck and shoulders were unbelievable. I felt refreshed after my massage. Mahalo Yuki!!!!

The place is getting ghetto now they can't even fix jets on a hot tub it's very sad they used to not let things fall apart now seems they don't even care for three weeks they have a broken hot tub not sure what's going on maybe the management

The suite was right next to the ocean.You can hear the birds chirping.Peaceful area .Loved the dolphins.

I booked this trip last minute, ran the marathon and was able to come to the most beautiful place to relax after the staff was amazing. The facility was gorgeous. I would suggest this to anyone anytime it’s the most beautiful place on earth.
