A beautifully comfortable hotel and very convenient

Historic location, but costly with parking and breakfast for extra charge.

Gym could do with a ball, and the floor was leaning to the left.

War etwas zu kurz dort, das Wasser im Pool zu frisch und altmodisch ausgestattet, dafür das Personal sehr nett, trotzdem mit 160€ recht teuere Übernachtung

We stayed at the Fuerstenhof on a recommendation when planning a three-day (4-night) stay in this historic city, with its musical connections (Bach, Mendelssohn, Wagner: the main reason for our visit). Hotel conveniently located at northern end of the historic core of the city with its churches and museums - just across the road from the Richard Wagner Straße and a short walk via the market square to the wide Augustusplatz. Tram stops opposite the hotel. Excellent buffet breakfast, and the choice was massive (including real honeycomb!) Spacious room and en suite bathroom with both a bath and a shower. Basement pool an attractive feature. Deserved 5* rating. (Added unexpected bonus: free open air concert in nearby park on the Friday evening by the world-renowned Gewandhaus Orchestra.)

The hotel is located right in the center of Leipzig within walking distance to most things. A wonderful hotel with spacious rooms and great service. The hotel also offers a nice spa area with pool and sauna. The breakfast is very good and the staff always tries to fulfill all your wishes. This is a 1st class hotel and possible a little more expensive than other hotels, but you get what you pay for, as always. If you appreciate peace and quiet and very good service, then you should choose this hotel. You won´t regret it….

Great location, very good service, nice, clean rooms

I need to be in Leipzig for a film premiere and booked the Fuesrstenhof Hotel. This was an excellent choice and I cannot recommend it enough.It was well placed for shopping and the old town.The rooms were spotless and the bar and restaurant immaculate.The breakfast was excellent and beautifully presented. Excellent bathroom with a bath and not just a shower ample hot water and lovely towels.The only problem I encountered I had no mirror to be able to use the hairdryer this was remedied within 20 mins by Till one of the reception staff who brought me an extension.The staff also recommended a restaurant in the old town where I could have dinner this was also excellent called Wienstock 3 courses coffee and 2 glasses of wine 58 Euros
