The Mosser Hotel

It was in a great part of town and I felt safe!

The room was too small, barely enough room to move around. Bathroom was small and didn’t have enough room to have more then 1 person in it

The location was excellent, with plenty of people around, which made the area feel lively and safe. Essential stores such as Trader Joe’s, Starbucks, and Target were all within easy walking distance. In addition, several bus stops were located nearby, making public transportation very convenient, accessible, and easy to use throughout my stay. The front desk staff provided outstanding service. They were always calm, polite, friendly, and attentive, making me feel welcome from check-in to check-out. Although the bathroom was shared, it was consistently clean, well-ventilated, and conveniently located. The room itself included several amenities that I greatly appreciated, such as a hair dryer, a bathrobe, and an iron, which were definite positive differentiators in my opinion. The room was always well air-conditioned and comfortable. I was also pleasantly surprised by the thoughtful complimentary amenities provided, including moisturizer and even makeup remover, which added an extra level of convenience and care to the overall experience. Another positive aspect was that the hotel offered complimentary luggage storage before check-in and after check-out. This was a very thoughtful and convenient service that allowed me to explore the city without having to carry my bags, and I greatly appreciated that there was no additional charge for it. Overall, I had a very positive stay and would gladly recommend this hotel to other travelers.

One aspect that could be improved is the transparency regarding additional charges. Although my stay had already been fully paid for, I was required to pay an additional fee and a $65 security deposit upon arrival, which I was told would be refunded within five days after check-out. I was not aware of these charges beforehand and was caught by surprise. It would be helpful if guests were informed about these costs in advance, especially international travelers. As a guest from outside the United States, I also found the shower controls somewhat unintuitive and difficult to figure out at first. Clearer instructions would have been appreciated. Additionally, the elevator was occasionally slow and seemed to malfunction at times. On several occasions, it took a long time to arrive and even opened its doors twice on the same floor before continuing, which made the experience less efficient.
