Lumbres Arenal

Room was very comfortable. Lots of birds around. We saw a whole flock of toucans in the morning. If it wasn't raining, that view of the volcano would have been amazing.

There was no one at the front desk when we arrived and we had to wander the grounds to find someone as there wasn't a note or way to contact anyone left at the desk, which is a few hundred years away from the rooms. Pool seemed smaller in person than how it appears in the photo.

The location was excellent. Love waking up in the morning surrounded my lush vegetation and different birds chirping.

My only negative feedback are the beds. The one bed mattress, you just sink right in and the other, I can feel the springs through them.

There was a nice cooking area with coffee pot and microwave and grill at the pool area. We loved the large refrigerator, the remoteness of the area and quietness. Lots of birds around. The view of Arenal volcano was wonderful from our room. Very peaceful here.

No coffee machine or microwave in room and did not really see anyone working the property other than room cleaning.

Quiet, just slightly outside of La Fortuna which we liked, small units, pool and outdoor pool table available, lots of birds and a few sweet cows behind the furthest units.

property was a little worn, but clean

Location was good and Tim spacious with a good shower. The owner lent us her phone to re book a flight that was cancelled by opodo who were awful. Great stay.

Nothing really, maybe like most hotels could have more hooks especially in bathroom.

The location and view cannot be beat! The host was amazing and so easy to communicate with. The beds were extremely comfortable

The pictures are brighter and cleaner than reality. The doors and windows are not sealed securely allowing bugs and critters to get into the room.
