Econo Lodge Mechanicsburg - Harrisburg West

The carpet was badly stained, the bedspread had stains on it, the refrigerator made a noise intermittently, there were patches on the wall that needed paiting, and there were areas that were not clean (the hair dryer, the inside of the front door). The room needs maintenance.

Customer service was spectacular!

There was an odor, the water pipes were exposed and had to be covered, the bathroom towels had stains, there was a brown powder on the bathroom sink, and we found a dead cockroach.

Cigarette smoke from other people kept coming into the room. Unclean room. Broken bathroom facilities.

This is a budget room. I was aware of that going into it. I did not expect much. The room was what you would expect for a budget room. However, the entire property, including heavily in my room, absolutely stunk of cigarette smoke. It was everywhere. In the sheets, on the pillows, when the AC would blow. It made it very hard to sleep as the room was suffocating of smoke smell, and was definitely not good for a guest with asthma like myself. The rooms are listed as non-smoking, but clearly people chain smoke in these rooms and the smell is imbedded into everything. I would say spend the extra $20-$30 and go elsewhere. It’ll be more comfortable with fresh air.

How cheap it was.

Every sheet in the room had a stain. The bathroom was nasty and there were dead bugs on my towel. I slept on a coat to avoid touching the sheets.

It was an excellent stay. Had no problems at all

Very distinct smell of marijuana. Did not feel adjoining room door was secure in order to keep neighbors out. Left property for safer location with my child

Everything was absolutely terrible!
