Placentia - Anaheim Orange County Hotel

Hotel is nice.

I forgot some personal items, including my kid's toys and a favorite blanket. I called the front desk, and they said they would call me back. I'm still waiting for the call three days later.

Property is clean

People were smoking marijuana in rooms that could be smelled strongly in the hall as soon as you got off the elevator. When staff was informed they claimed it was because people smoked outside and the smell just stayed on their clothes. Staff and management was horrible, rude, and unprofessional. I listed my guest where booking.com advised but the staff at the hotel didn’t look in the right location and had my guest waiting for over 30 minutes for me instead of allowing them to check in. The shower head did not work properly so we requested it be fixed since our stay was supposed to be for three nights. When it wasn’t fixed after staff claimed it was, my guest took pictures to show that the shower head in fact had not been fixed, however rather than trying to fix the issue the staff, Juan, accused my guest of using AI to photoshop the pictures. Then if things had not been bad enough for day 1 of the stay, the manager requested my guest leave and he called the police to escort my guest off the property on Thanksgiving evening. Of all days when stores are closed and I could not purchase an air mattress for use at my home. I have stayed at this property before, at least five prior stays for out of town guest but after this incident I will never subject my family or friends to the incompetence of the staff and the rude, unprofessional demeanor of the staff and management at this facility again. The manager even refused to provide me with the corporate contact information when I requested it. Oh and the part I didn’t mention before is my guest has medical issues that were exasperated by the behavior of the staff.
