The room was clean and was close to stuff.

Staff was very rude, stairs were not safe. The breakfast wasn't that good.

I didn't like what was offered, so I didn't eat.

Smell was old and musty. This site is in need of a complete rehab. Structurally it appears to be a solid foundation, but it is old. My biggest issue was the HVAC. I came see the Ali Siddiq show so I wasn't in the room much. I checked in and left to get a bit to eat. When I came back after midnight I wanted to turn the heat up. I keep getting a clanking and pop noise and no heat. I had the unit up to 86 degrees and no heat. I slept in my clothes. I made this known the manager on duty. His response was that I should have made this know and they would have repaired this. Lastly while out I received a call from 815-398-7061, an unknown number to me. Well when I did answer after 12:12 AM asking if I am still going to check in and if so, please provide additional info. I told them I am already checked in and all my information is with the hotel and I hung u

Amy was the rudest front desk agent I have ever had the misfortune of interacting with. She called me offensive names, cursed at me, refused to accept my credit card because she accused me of stealing it despite my name literally being on it and it matching my photo ID as is their policy. Absolutely unbelievable interaction and I will never be going back because of it.

Amy was rude, combative, and unknowledgeable about her own hotel's policies. I stayed at this property 3 other times in the last month with no issue but she refused to accept my credit card because it was an Apple Card and constantly lied and harassed me refusing to allow me to check in or provide a refund. I finally had to call Wyndham customer support before she finally allowed me to check-in after over an hour waiting in the lobby and her demanding I leave.

Previous stays were great but Amy at the front desk was awful and ruined the experience

Amy at the front desk was incredibly rude, refused to accept my credit card because it was an Apple Card, refused to give me a room or refund me until I called Wyndham customer support. She also cursed at me and threatened to ban me from the hotel in the future simply because my card didn't have numbers on it. The hotel manager refused to do anything about this or even apologize for her behavior. Amy also charged my card in the middle of the night fraudulently when I had already paid my deposit and original payment. I stayed 3 other times at this hotel with no issue but will never be going back.

The location was wonderful, right off I-90. It was very convenient. The room was lovely, very well designed. The artwork on the walls was beautiful. The breakfast was good, a variety of teabags, several urns of coffee, 2 juice choices, several breads to toast, a waffle maker, and yogurt.

The window heater sounded like a 747 when it started up. I ended up shutting it off. I prefer a cool room to a noisy one. The front step coming in the hotel is much higher than the sidewalk and I almost fell over it.
