We love the Bedford Hotel. Sure, it's old and very dated, but the location cannot be beat. Sisters and I go for one night every December to go shopping and enjoy the lively city which is lit up beautifully for Christmas. We love to look over Government Street and we are ok with the noise, (but you may want to bring earplugs). Beds are comfortable and staff is nice. Tons of great restaurants and pubs nearby as well as the Bay Centre Mall right across the street. No luxury or pampering here but we love it!!!

The whole experience was terrible from trying to get access to the lobby from Government the service and cleanliness of the entire hotel. A 2 star rating is higher than it should be. Will never return.

Downtown location was convenient. The room was nice.

We wished there was a mirror in the bathroom. We did not like that there was a very loud band playing in the pub that kept us up.. and people entering and exiting shouting until very late.!

The staff were lovely and friendly. The breakfasts were delicious. It was walking distance to everywhere.

There were a lot of homeless people using drugs close by. They would ask us to buy them coffee most mornings at the Tim Hortons next door.
