Comfort Inn & Suites Olathe - Kansas City

Location was okay, right off main road. Breakfast was ok, not great or anything but acceptable. Staff was friendly. Bed was comfortable.

Carpet in the hallway was lumpy, like it need stretched or replaced. Elevator looked like it had seen better days inside, lots of dings, scraps, needs new walls/paint, whatever. Also, the elevator door closes way too fast. The table with coffee looked disgusting - maybe the top needs replaced. There was a piece of furniture in the breakfast room that looked like it was partly taken out of the packaging but it had something covering the top - either finish unpacking it for guests to use or don't have it taking up space. The whole place had kind of a funky smell and looked a little run down. For the price I paid, I could have gone down the street to a much nicer Holiday Inn express. Heck, I think the price there was slightly cheaper. Needless to say, I won't be staying here again.

The carpet in the hallways and the rooms were lifting but it looked like they may be remodeling slowly a few area at a time. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was good as well.

Carpet was not very clean. Had white spots all over it especially in the stairwells. Hotel was very dated and not as clean as what the online pictures showed. Wouldn’t stay here again.

The location. It was centrally located between Kansas City and Lawrence.

We have had some great and mediocre experiences at Comfort Inn and Suites. Maybe it depends on who owns it. It was painted to look like all of the other Comfort Inn and Suites but it wasn’t kept up on the inside with maintenance and efficiency of the staff etc.

Carpeting throughout facility needs attention..carpeting in room and hallways coming up creating trip hazards.

The sheets are dirty with stains of blood! Breakfast was terrible nasty! Overall the hotel was gross
