Days Inn by Wyndham Blakely

No complaints. It was clean and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was available. Best option in Blakely. I would stay again. Location was close to family which is why we were there. Front desk and all of the staff were friendly and professional.

Within the first 30 minutes of check-in, I saw 5-6 roaches crawling around in my room, along with roach feces. I asked to change rooms and after convincing the front desk staff roaches were all in my room, I was allowed to change rooms.

Front desk staff was very friendly, allowing us to check in early since the room was ready. I was very appreciative for that.

When I walked into the room the stench of Marijuana and cigarettes hit me. I sprayed the room down with air freshener and came back 5 hours later but it did nothing for the smell. Once I got in and showered and laid down the smell of the cigarettes were basically stuck in my nostrils. Also they need to do a better job with cleaning all areas of the room. Dust and other items were on the bottom of head board.

Bathrooms could have been cleaned better

The staff were great. Unfortunately in my haste I did not see it was a smoking room when I booked, I didn’t even realize that was still possible. The clerk at the counter offered to put us in non smoking room with double beds, but I declined, I should have accepted her offer. The breakfast was ok but the eggs and bacon looked like rubber. The bed was comfortable and I would stay there again if we were in the area, I would just be sure to get a non smoking room.
