USUSThe hotel was beautiful and clean! The room was large and always clean with a lovely partial ocean view.
The only complaint I had is not with the hotel but people staying there, we were overlooking the pool and at night we heard a lot of noise, it's hard with a baby and trying to get them to sleep. Next time I will book a quieter room.
We had a very enjoyable few days staying here. What makes it special is the staff throughout the hotel are exceptional. They give the impression that they genuinely care about your stay and not simply going through the motions to get a tip. We had an issue with our room which was professionally handled. The rooms themselves are very clean. Yes, certain ares could do with an update, but overall we have no complaints. Will be returning.
DeMarko and Evan at the front desk are the best! DeMarko truly made sure our stay and our room were the best they could be. He consistently checked in on us to ensure we were happy and enjoying our stay. DeMarko and Evan always have smiles on their faces and make you feel so welcome!

The restaurant was closed. Breakfast was room service. Bar menu was same for lunch and dinner. Hot tub closed. Not a 5 star experience.
We have stayed here several times before and booked again for this month. One night using points & another paying cash. Unfortunately, I became rather ill w both Covid & the flu and had to cancel not quite a week out. Even though this was NOT in the free window to cancel, they graciously refunded our points & did not charge us even though they could have. While we planned to return to this property, and are fans of Kimptons in general (LOVE their pet policy), I will be actively seeking other Kimptons out in the future. There are a lot of ways to make this unfortunate situation work out poorly, but they chose the high road. Way to make a life long customer! We will be back and appreciate their understanding
ATUSThe hotel rooms are really run down. Odd pieces of dilapidated old furniture. Our room was really dirty. They didn’t wash the wine glasses.
