The Old Stables

Was clean and well stocked. Quiet and peaceful location. Walking distance to pub with good good. Nice gardens.

What a lovely find! Stayed here for one night when visiting the Stag & Hounds, but could happily have stayed longer. Lovely location, great facilities and lovely touches with home made cakes on arrival and a fridge with proper milk and bottled water. Fran was very welcoming and helpful, and lots of information in the room about the local area and places to go/eat etc.

Fran is a wonderful host and the ‘snug’ is such a lovely place to stay We will be back

A very comfortable and tastefull stables conversion that is well appointed with lovely gardens to access. Fran is a helpful and very friendly host.

Fran was incredibly understanding when our check in time kept getting pushed back due to raod delays, and she was so welcoming and helpful on our arrival - explaining all aspects of the room and offering local recommendations for our stay. The Snug was a gorgeous room and it was a pleasure to stay at The Old Stables.

The property was clean, comfortable and full of character with lots of little extras including chocolates, homemade cakes, milk and bottled water. The hostess was very friendly and helpful.

Although brief we loved everything about the place

The Snug is just lovely, warm and cosy with a log fire in the bedroom / sitting room. Spacious and spotlessly clean. The kitchen is well equipped, has everything you need for a self catering break, just wish our stay had been longer, could happily have stayed a week. Fran was lovely; welcoming, friendly and helpful, thanks so much, we would love to visit again sometime.
