"Excellent Hotel - great value for money"

Arrived a little later than expected, we received a warm welcome and were quickly checked in and on our way to our room. The room as enormous with a separate lounge/bedroom area. The room as spotlessly clean as was the bathroom> We ate in town as the restaurant was closed. A quiet comfortable nights sleep. Breakfast had a medium choice of fare but was fresh and tasty. Would definitely stay here again

Perfectly located for visit to Völklingen Ironworks or US servicemen. Friendly staff, clean rooms and good breakfast with lots of variety. It is really very close to the town of Saarbrücken. The suite is huge and only a few $$ more. Comes with soaking shower, bidet, living room and many additional convenient amenities. Great location above a grocery. Inexpensive pizza place around the corner.

"To horrible to try"

I walked away from this hotel. It is situated on a marketsquare out of 70's movie set. Concrete building above a supermarket ! The fotos make you think the hotel is on the ground floor but it is not. You have to acces the hotel through a fire escape stair next to supermarket. I walked away.

"A bit dated!"

Let me start by saying that this is one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed in, and that goes for 4 or 5 star hotels around the world. But it is dated, 80's decor and the beds were probably one of the worst that I have come across, polyester duvet and a envelope for a pillow, rooms really cold as well. Don't get a room at the front of the hotel as there is a public carpark that specialises in car alarms going off throughout the night! Food was good and very cheap, service was dire!
