Great food and service, real homely feel especially with the real log fire…..

Clean and tidy. Room very comfortable. Food very good. Staff friendly and helpful.

There are no water bottles in the room.

The room and bathroom were spacious, clean and modern. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, walking us to the room and showing us where everything is. Breakfast was a lovely mix of cooked foods, cereals and pastries.

For some the lack of tv in the room may be disappointing. The digital light on the radiator was very bright next to the bed at night.

I liked everything about this property The staff were amazing they treated you like they’ve known you for years. The room was magnificent 10/10 it was like your own little cottage comfortable bed didn’t want to get up for a first class breakfast. PS if you fly fish bring your gear 😉

Lovely location, everything was clean and fresh and there was a warm welcome when we arrived. The bed was comfy and the facilities were great. We had a long drive there and enjoyed our meal and drinks from the well stocked bar.

There was a limited menu to choose from and you had to have 2 courses as a minimum at £45 where one would have been sufficient. There could also have been more atmosphere in the dining room and lounge area with some light background music as it was very quiet at both meals and drinks afterwards.
