Sanga Nikko

Nous avons passé un moment inoubliable au Sanga Nikko grâce à Yochi et Rie, qui sont des hôtes tout simplement incroyables. Leur accueil est chaleureux, sincère et attentionné, on se sent immédiatement comme chez soi. Yochi a été d’une aide précieuse tout au long de notre séjour : il nous a conseillé de superbes activités à découvrir dans la région de Nikko et nous a même organisé une randonnée sur mesure, en nous prêtant des chaussures de randonnée — un service vraiment au-delà de nos attentes ! Il nous a tout conseillé du début à la fin (bus, pass, restaurants…) Yochi étant photographe, il nous a proposé une séance photo gratuite et nous a offert une magnifique photo souvenir. Une attention rare et très touchante qui rend ce séjour encore plus mémorable. Le logement est impeccable : très propre, confortable, calme et parfaitement équipé. Nous nous y sommes sentis extrêmement bien. Nous recommandons cet hébergement les yeux fermés. Un immense merci à Yochi et Rie pour leur gentillesse et leur générosité. Tout était parfait.

The host, Yoshi, was really friendly and welcoming. He gave us a lot of tips of things to do in the area. He was very down to help out. He also let us borrow really nice hiking shoes, which were useful when we were hiking on a rainy day. We wished we could have stayed longer in Nikko and especielly at that friendly place. The bedrooms were cosy and had nice beds. We also had access to extra rooms to hang around in.

Since the rooms didn’t have their own bathroom, we missed a good space to hang our wet clothes after a rainy day.

Our host, Yoshi, was amazing. He welcomed us into his home and really helped us make the most of our short time in the area. We really appreciated the time he spent with us and enjoyed speaking with him.

The room was quite dark, and a little dated, but very comfortable.

We absolutely loved our stay here, Yoshi and his wife are wonderful hosts, Yoshi helped us plan a beautiful hike for our day including how to navigate the public transport and even provided hiking boots which were really helpful. The property is lovely, super clean and well-maintained, it was great to have somewhere so cosy to come back to to relax after a long day and the beds were the comfiest we slept in on the whole trip. Yoshi was also kind enough to lend us some bikes so we could make the most of our day after check out and we left Nikko super happy we got to see everything we wanted to. Thanks so much we will definitely be back someday :)

Yoshi was a fantastic host, so many brilliant touches and attention to detail! We had a bedroom and separate lounge area alongside access to the communal lounge. Everything was spotlessly clean. A light breakfast was provided. Yoshi used to be a professional photographer and he offered to take our photo which was lovely! He also recommended plenty of things to do during our stay. We really couldn’t recommend enough!

Staying at the Sanga Guesthouse was one of my favourite experiences I've had while travelling. Yoshi-san was an incredibly kind and gracious host. I had a few ideas of what I wanted to do in Nikko, but nothing locked in, and he helped me plan out my time there, right down to bus schedules and opening times. He suggested a snow hike up in Yomoto Onsen town, followed by an afternoon in an onsen bathhouse, which was one of the loveliest days I've had travelling - I would highly recommend, if you're there in the winter. The guest house is located right by the train station and main bus stop, making it a perfect base for exploring Nikko. The room was absolutely lovely too, a very welcoming and comfortable place to come home to each day. Definitely stay a few nights if you can! There's a lot to see in Nikko and surrounds, and it rewards that extra time there. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

We had experienced Japanese inns with shared bathrooms so we’re happy to book Sanga Nikko. Delighted we did , Yoshi is a wonderful host, going above and beyond to help you enjoy your time , but not at all intrusive. Great location, spotlessly clean and whilst it is not our usual choice, the shared facilities are fine. They also provide a light breakfast.

Un de mes meilleurs logements au Japon. Les hôtes Yoshi et Rie sont aux petits soins. Ce n'est pas seulement un logement mais aussi un endroit où l'on se sent chez soi. Yoshi débordent d'attention ce qui rend l'expérience incroyable: conseils touristiques, petites gourmandises au coin salon, photos. La maison est agréable et décorée avec goût. La literie est très confortable. Tout est extrêmement propre.bref, je conseil sans aucune hésitation et j'y retournerai pour sûr. Encore merci à tous les deux.
