YourHome - Casa Sansone Positano

Het uitzicht was prachtig, de kamer groot en oogde netjes. De host was vriendelijk en behulpzaam, we mochten zelfs veel eerder inchecken dan officieel werd aangegeven dus dat was heel fijn. Er is een parkeerplaats bij de accommodatie beschikbaar (tegen betaling) wat echt een plus is in Positano.

De bedden lagen niet lekker, veel te hard matras naar onze smaak. De hele nacht werd de kamer verlicht door het straatlicht van buiten, er was 1 raam zonder gordijn maar precies daar kwam een zee van licht naar binnen. Er hing een constante lichte riool geur in de kamer (overigens rook je die op straat ook bij tijd en wijle, waarschijnlijk gewoon omdat het een oud dorpje is met oude huizen. maar wel goed om te weten als je daar gevoelig voor bent). De parkeerplaats is wel heel spannend om te komen, je moet door een heel smalle doorgang dus als je een (middel) grote auto hebt is het wel heel lastig om op de parkeerplaats te komen (spiegels inklappen en dan luttele centimeters aan de zijkanten over hebben). Wij zijn 1 dag eerder uitgecheckt om diverse redenen, mede omdat we het veel te druk vonden in Positano maar ook omdat we ertegenop zagen nog 1 nacht te slapen in de accommodatie. Geen geld teruggekregen voor de niet gebruikte nacht maar dat stond ook zo in de voorwaarden dus prima. De parkeerplaats moesten we echter ook voor 2 nachten afrekenen terwijl we daar geen gebruik van gingen maken. Dat had denk ik wat coulanter gekund zeker gezien de hoge parkeerkosten.

This property is outstanding - the view literally sucks the breath out of you! The property itself was spotlessly clean, had views even from the toilet and has an additional bathroom outside and an outside shower, which we loved. Marina, the host, was wonderful - welcoming and so lovely. We felt so lucky to be able to stay here - and thank you Marina for helping with our luggage - we were so grateful to you :-)

The property is up in the hills and to get into Positano is via the local bus (or a €50 euro taxi) - and the bus is often full so you have to stand whilst going down very winding roads. That said, we loved it up in the area where the property is situated and we had dinner at the best restaurant on our trip (Donna Rosa - outstanding) and there is a supermarket and two other eateries - Positano was very busy, even in late September so we preferred to stay at the property. It is a very special place.

The house felt like home. Had all the items you’d have in your own home. The view from the large balcony was absolutely wonderful. Marina was a wonderful host!

There was absolutely nothing to dislike about Marina’s home.

The place is VERY clean , it was the first thing we noticed . The location is 15minutes from the centre of Positano by motorcycle so if you want a place that is quiet and away from the crowds which can be too much this place is perfect. Our parking was not included but as i said this place is not crowded so we found parking very easy. Marina helped us book a boat toor , find motorcycles and booked us a taxi back to Napoli ❤️Very professional and very friendly !! Overall 10/10 place
