Ramada Downtown by Wyndham Anchorage

Het personeel was vriendelijk en we waren blij met een relatief stil plekje. Het ontbijt was uitgebreider dan verwacht.

De fauteuil op de kamer was vies, en alles was gedateerd. De gordijnen hadden gaten en de airco was vies en de afzuiging niet goed aangesloten. Er zaten wat vlekken op het beddengoed, ondanks dat het wel schoon beddengoed leek te zijn.

OK. Typical hotel continental food, clean and well maintained. The beds were very comfortable.

I was disappointed in the “Wyndham” hotel. I expect a much higher standard from Wyndham. I’m a gold member of Wyndham rewards and a longtime member of Club Wyndham. I would like to be confident that when I choose a Wyndham hotel, it will meet those standards.

Air con system didn’t appear to work and portable air cons didn’t either - possible needed emptying. I did mention but not until we left as wasn’t an issue for us. One towel in room for 2 of us but reception resolved quickly On arrival the room had beds at funny angles and tv unit as if it had been cleaned thoroughly but not put back. Box for TV was also missing. Staff offered to swap for another one and or move room but we declined as room clean and we didn’t want to watch TV as only stayed one night.

Staff was very responsive. They did the best they could.

Room 1 - security risk. Window could allow strangers in. Door handle lose. Room 2 - bathroom tub was dirty. Toilet stopped working. Breakfast minimal. Location is in a homeless area.

I didn't have any desire whatsoever to TEST the breakfast. The hotel was located conveniently to access the rail system.

The broken glass in the rooms window was not even tempered. Extremely dangerous condition. Large broken plate glass window. No window latch. Window "lock" was the Aluminum thumbscrew type stop intended for use only as a window stop. Iron stops are available for security concerns as in this instance.
