Scarborough Inn

Checking in and out was easy. We were upgraded to a private cabin room with a king bed by the owner, which was unexpected but much appreciated. It was clean and the bed was comfy. Would stay again.

We decided to stay then night last minute and this location was very accommodating. The friendly service at the front desk was welcoming and he got us settled into rooms right away. The location was perfect for a nice stay in Manteo and fit the needs of our large family nicely. For the peak season and two rooms rooms last minute, we could not have asked for a better stay.

The only thing I would add is more modern light fixtures that allow you to charge devices. The alarm clocks did have USB plugs but with all phones switching to the newer type c chargers, we needed different plug options.

Beautiful, Clean, Inn Dill was very nice. Glad I had the opportunity to experience Scarborough Inn. He even gave me some great health information. I will take his advice.

After my recent stay here, I have a new best friend by the name of Dill. Dill was awesome!! He literally attended to our every need, from efficiently booking the most appropriate rooms for us, to ensuring we had adequate parking for our boat, to personally escorting us to our very nice, clean, spacious rooms (#17 & 18), to accommodating an unexpected early checkout due to a bit of a family emergency, he could not have been more helpful! No more automated kiosk as mentioned in earlier reviews, but true customer service! Rooms were very clean and spacious. Even the grounds and landscaping was very well maintained. I’m an older fellow who has traveled quite a bit, and I appreciate nice comfortable lodging and good customer service and I feel that is exactly what The Scarborough Inn provided for me at a very economical price during my recent stay there. What more could you ask for? My fishing buddies and I will definitely be returning again in the near future.

Was a comfortable stay. The owner was available and let us check in early. Very nice guy! Loved the vintage vibe the room had with antique furniture
