"Generally a good stay and I would recommend. Avoid local taxis though, total rip off!"

We stayed at The Priory for a wedding nearby. The location was good. The staff were friendly and breakfast was delicious.

Our room was surprising small, however was functional. My pillows were far too hard and uncomfortable.

Self catering apartment so can't comment on service.

Poly cotton towels failed to dry properly. Have not heard of poly cotton for towels ... don't work. Lack of side table for drinks downstairs. Improvised with a dining chair and board. Mention was made of bread and butter in the fridge but there was none.

Very friendly, personable and professional welcome and at breakfast. Wonderful hosts. Superb breakfast at large communal table in the galley/kitchen/dining room
