このホームステイに宿泊し、一生の思い出に残る素晴らしい時間を過ごせました。お部屋は広くて立派で、特に美しいテラスではこれ以上ない贅沢なひとときを味わうことができました。賑やかな中心部のホテルも経験しましたが、こちらのような落ち着いた環境でゆったりと過ごし、必要な時に中心部へ出かけるスタイルの方が、心からリラックスできて私には理想的でした。何より、家族のように気にかけてくれるホストの皆さんの優しさに感動しました。至れり尽くせりのおもてなしに、感謝の気持ちでいっぱいです。ウダイプルを訪れるなら、ここを強くおすすめします！本当にありがとうございました。

Loved the room and terrace. Also the kind company of the host. The home cooked meals and conversations made me feel at home. Wish I could spend more time at the property. My dog was comfortable too!

Hospitality, the house, the food and the hosts. The hosts were very helpful and welcoming, they served us delicious breakfast, took care of our comfort really well, we loved their hospitality. They even woke up early morning for our early check-in and arranged our breakfast.The rooms and washrooms were quite clean.

The bathroom floor surface seemed a bit uneven resulting in water logging temporarily while bathing elsewhere the bathroom was quite huge and good

The breakfast was simple but very good. Homely, and served with a smile.

There should be a proper provision for hot water. The solar powered facility should have an electrical backup . This will ensure that on cloudy days too hot water is available

Nous avons été merveilleusement reçus par Uma et Deviendra. Uma est une excellente cuisinière. Le petit déjeuner indien est délicieux. Nous avons également pris nos dîners à la villa et ne l'avons jamais regretté. La chambre est spacieuse. Grande salle de bain. Propreté impeccable. Il y a également une grande terrasse au calme. Deviendra nous a aidé dans nos démarches et nous a accompagné à la gare à 5h du matin. Uma était présente pour nous saluer. De belles personnes qui vous ouvrent leur maison et leur cœur. Un grand merci.

I had the most wonderful stay at Jai Villa. The location is simply breathtaking, surrounded by hills and clouds that make every view feel magical. What truly made my experience special, though, was Uma ma’am’s kindness and care. She went out of her way to make me feel at home—constantly checking if I wanted tea or needed anything, and even calling me for breakfast multiple times since I was traveling solo. Her warmth and hospitality, along with her beautiful family, created such a homely atmosphere that I never once felt alone. If you’re looking for a peaceful, calm, and heartwarming place to stay—whether with family or even by yourself—Jai Villa is the perfect choice. It truly feels like home away from home.

Homely. Warm. Welcoming.

Uma, the host, was incredibly warm and welcoming — truly one of the highlights of our stay. We stayed during the off-season and got a great deal on booking.com, making the value excellent. The room had everything we needed: a comfortable bed, a lovely bathroom with hot water and a great shower, and thoughtful touches like separate shampoo and shower gels, and hand towels — which aren’t always guaranteed in homestays. The family owns lots of different lodges in India and have multiple rooms in their homestays. So they know how to offer exceptional service. The AC and fan in both rooms helped make the summer heat manageable. We appreciated the quiet, peaceful location — a nice contrast to central Udaipur. But still an amazing location and only a short Rapido ride to the centre or train station. The food was absolutely delicious — home-cooked with care by Uma and Rukhmandi, the helper, who was also kind and hardworking. Rukhmandi did all her (many) household chores with a smile and was a friendly presence. Requests like batteries for remotes or an extra bin were met quickly with a smile. Early check-in and flexibility were very much appreciated. Highly recommended stay overall.

The food, while very tasty, felt a bit expensive for budget travellers like us — it would be great to have more flexible meal pricing options for lighter or simpler meals. But for a full and multiple dish meal, it was great value and authentic food. The only real disappointment for us was about the gym visit. Every mealtime Uma sat to speak with us, and one evening spoke about her gym journey. They own a gym downstairs and we asked about visiting. We went on our last day and thought we would be guests. We have gone as guests to other gyms in India, who often do a free taster. But we were told about the cost of using the gym, only after using it rather than before. It would have helped to have all the details up front. Because we thought we were guests we actually left early and didn't want to impose. But if we knew we were paying we would have stayed for longer! However it was a great gym, and simply just a miscommunication issue which is easy to rectify. It wasn't a high price either, just a matter of principle for us about communicating everything upfront. Nevertheless this was still an amazing homestay and highly recommended. If we returned to Udaipur with a higher budget we would definitely consider staying again.
